When applied dry: Buildable from a soft smoky black to a darker black. Great for defining creases, lower water lines, or to smudge-out your eyeliner.
When applied wet: Midnight black. No funny business. Use Black Magic on a damp detail brush to line your eyes.

This color Is so much fun. I have tried to make a Smokey eye, with other colors and as an eyeliner and it works great. It's so pretty and soft and no yucky reactions.

I love this product for both eyeshadow and eyeliner! It provides a dramatic highlight, cat eyes, etc. I won't go without this in my arsenal!

I love having this color in my beauty products arsenal. Those who are afraid of having dark eye shadow shouldn't be scared - this is awesome! I can't leave my house without using this as an accent.

I use Black Magic as a eyeliner and it works great. Especially paired with rally balm to create a gel liner.

I have five of the shimmer shadows and I have liked them all. I didn't particularly care that I didn't have a matte shadow. I use them all as eyeliners, so I was interested in trying this one. I was trying to buy some of the brown matte shadow but it sold out immediately, so I ordered this. Wow, just wow. The depth of color and the composition is wonderful. I am so in love with this color that I hate to take it off when I go to sleep. I have mostly paired it with Raven but it would look great with any of the shadows. I have very fair skin and light eyes, but this shadow doesn't overpower. It enhances what I have. I hope the other mattes are back in stock soon because I want a brown eyeliner just because. I do love this shadow as an eyeliner. It looks great and I feel great. That's really what it's all about. All you ladies who kept asking for matte shadows were right. Thank you! And thank you Jay and Andrea for being so responsive, and for making another fabulous product.

I am in awe at how soft they are. I know, weird, right? Soft eyeshadow? But they are!! They¹re true to color, and go on so beautifully with your shadow brush. The absolute best part of your makeup to me so far? It lasts! It stays on all night. Last night was my anniversary and my husband and I had a Ball to go to, my makeup never even faded a bit! Thank you guys so much for such a fantastically wonderful product! I wish you had offices out by me, I¹d love to be a part of what you¹re doing! All the best to continued success for you guys! I can¹t wait for the ¹61 product line next month!!

As you prefer a REPLY, I will tell you that your products are phenomenal! I tried them because they are gluten-free, and was amazed by the superior quality. I have used some "high-end" products like Chanel and more recently, Bare Minerals. In addition to being safe, your eyeshadows stay true much longer and the lipsticks actually DO moisturize, look and feel wonderful. I am so looking forward to your foundation and blushes which I understand are currently in development phase.
I took advantage of your special promotions and stocked up. My female friends and family will be receiving RAL products as Christmas gifts. When I gave some to 2 friends for their birthdays this Fall, they initially thought it strange, but after trying them, they absolutely gushed with gratitude and are hooked.
I love these products so much, I requested to become an affiliate so I can post a link from my blog www.pamelaspaleolife.wordpress.com. I was thrilled that RAL posted a link to my post "12 Days of (Paleo) Christmas" on the RAL Tumblr page! http://pamelaspaleolife.wordpress.com/2012/12/13/12-days-of-paleo-christmas/
Thank you and keep up the good work!
