This is my first time I have been able to wear lipstick in TWO years! That is way too long for this girl. I feel like lipstick completes a look, and now I feel like nothing is missing from my outfit. Every single lip product I have tried since going GF has made my lips peel like a lizard... until now!
Summer Sands is a pretty subtle color with fun specks of glitter. Although it has more glitter than I expected, it is still a pretty bronze hue and makes me want to lay on the beach. No mirror needed for application and wears off fairly quickly.

Perfect nude shimmer! It has just what I need to cover and accent my lips when I want little color. This shade seems to be neutral, making it useable for just about everyone. I've been wearing it alone, or over Petal Pusher for a little pink pop of color.

I totally would. It's SO hard for me to find a neutral that doesn't look orange on me or wash me out (I have olive skin with yellow undertones, brown hair, brown eyes). This color is amazing on me. I can finally wear a neutral and feel amazing in it!!
The only reason this doesn't get four stars is because of the fruity scent. I really don't like it and some days it gives me a scratchy throat (darn Celiacs and auto immune issues) depending on what my immune system is up to that particular day. If you guys ever made the summer passion line scent free I would absolutely be in heaven.
Final verdict? Get this color. It's absolutely insane how gorgeous it is and can go from a very light hint of tinted lips to a beautiful solid neutral that ... glows... literally. It's amazing!

I have been using Red Apple Lipstick since October 2012 and I am totally enamored with the lipstick and the Rallye Lip Balm. My first lipstick color was "Love My Kiss" which is a beautiful red pink. It is a great everyday color that looks good with my fair complexion. Since October I've purchased Secret, Mauve Me, and Summer Sands. I adore them all. The colors are beautiful, the lipstick is smooth and creamy, and the color stays on and lasts a long time. It's also fun to mix the colors and create your own "custom" color. Rallye Lip Balm is a miracle worker. It has kept my lips smooth like nothing else during this cold midwest winter.
I was hesitant at first to buy makeup over the internet because it is sometimes hard to tell what the colors will really look like. The Red Apple team has done a great job of describing the colors on the web site. You don't have to worry about garish or crazy colors or too much sparkle. Red Apple has done a superb job of formulating colors that real people can wear. Besides, the money back guarantee removes the risk. What more could you ask for? Beach glowing lips all year long!!!

I absolutely love this shade because it is so natural looking on your lips and you can wear it with any outfit, and for any occassion. Stays true on your lips all day long and makes them feel silky smooth and moisturized. There is no fading or any sticky feeling as you get with most other brands of lipsticks. I will not buy anything but Red Apple Lipstick products from now on!!!

I was so excited to receive Summer Sands in the mail and try it out, because the color looks so pretty on the website. Bravely, as I never wear new colors out without testing them first, I decided to break that rule and wear it to a job interview, because neutral colors are recommended for interviews and I did not have one. So, I put it on right before leaving the house, liked what I saw in the mirror, and left for my interview. When I arrived back home 3 hours later, the color was still on and looked freshly applied, my lips were soft, and I looked just as good as I had when I left. There was no sticky/tacky feeling, drying out, feathering, fading, color change, or any of the other nasty drawbacks of most other lipsticks. Ladies, I am in LOVE with Red Apple Lipstick and this color.

This color is perfect for me. I like it because I have a coloring in which does not go with the red lipsticks. I've always had a hard time finding light lipsticks, as the companies pull them after a year or so. With this lipstick, I hope you keep making it forever, it's just that beautiful! I love it!

It doesn't matter what makeup i wear, how dark it is, how light it is...this color looks great all the time! thank you for making the perfect nude lipstick - i literally wear this everyday, and it's so moisturizing that it's actually helping my lips look fuller because they're not as dried out and dehydrated looking anymore!!! yay!
