This primer is the best way to eliminate mid-day eyeshadow creasing or disappearing acts. It will also provide a solid color base for your eyeshadows to be applied on top of, which allows the shadow to really shine. Our primer corrects any discolorations or veins on your eyelids (heaven forbid we have veins or redness on our eyelids right?!). Let's call this a creamy powder consistency. It isn't a liquid, it isn't a cream, it isn't a powder, it's somewhere in between.
How To Apply:
With clean and dry eyelids, use your pinky finger and get a SUPER SMALL amount of the primer on your finger. Gently, apply from your clean finger all over your eyelid and anywhere else you want.
I like to use a cotton swab and apply under my eye (where the purple skin is) and on blemishes.
NOTE: Make sure not to use too much! This is a product that should last you a very long time. Using too much on your eyelid will result in creasing, and that is quite the opposite of the intended effect.

this stuff is awesome. I use the RAL eye shadows on top of it, as an upper-lid eyeliner and this stuff helps my shadow line go on super-smoothly...it's like a gel eyeliner, but better. and best part, my 'line' stay on all day; no touch-ups needed.

I never thought I needed a primer. When RAL had their VDay sale, I thought I'd try it.
Uhm...yeah. You need to get this product. Your shadow will go on like silk after Prime Time. It will blend so well and there is no creasing. I LOVE my Prime Time!
I've bragged on it so much, my niece is going to order some. :)
You should, too.

I have used so many brands of primer -- and while some worked well, they all caused an unbelievable amount of irritation immediately after I applied it. THIS PRIMER IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
Prime-Time goes on very smoothly, it covers well with a minimal amount, and it provides a really nice neutral base for applying eye shadows. This is an absolute staple in my cosmetic tool box. I have one in the refrigerator now so that when I am finished with the one I am currently using, I won't run out. It is that good.

When you put this on under your eyeshadow, it lasts all day. There is no melting or creasing. Rhe way I put it on in the morning is the way it looks at night when I am ready to wash it off.

I pretty much said it all in the headline I just wrote. The primer is delicate & goes on very smoothly. To date, my eye shadows have lasted a good portion of the day, unless I forgot I had any on & rub my eyes!! Those "Senior Moments" come w/youth!!! I am quite pleased to have this primer, I think you will be also.

Impressed with this primer. I was skeptical when I bought it but after using it, I will definitely buy and recommend it. A little goes a long way and eye shadow looks good ALL day. Worth the purchase!

The primer is amazing. It really holds your eye shadow all day. Without it the color tends to fade by afternoon. I love all if the red apple lipstick products!! Thank you for helping me wear make up again.

I've used numerous primers, always trying to find the right one that would perform three critical functions: even out the color of my lids (one has a visible vein that drives me nuts when it shows), to resurface the lids so they are not oily or crepey, and to provide "grip" for shadows so the color stays true and doesn't migrate onto my cheekbones. This primer does all three EXPERTLY. It covers the vein in my lid, it grips RAL shadows (and others, if you're using them) and keeps them where you want them, while providing the perfect surface to apply your shadows and blend them beautifully. I do not apply shadow without this PRIMO primer ever.

As usual this is the kind of high-quality product I would expect to buy from Red Apple Lipstick. Easy to use and you don't need much.

I was already pleased with the staying power of Red Apple eyeshadows, but when I had the chance to buy the primer at a discount (and saw that other reviewers mentioned using it as a concealer) I decided to try it. I love it. It looks like a cream but feels more powdery. I use my ring finger to apply it ever so gently and sparingly all around my eye. I have fair/olive toned skin and this now takes the place of my concealer too. and yes, it is a great neutral base for the eyeshadows to stay on ALL day
