9 Lipstick Shades You Need In Fall in 2019

Fall 2019 is upon is us!  The cozy clothes, the camp fires, the leaf changing, and the upcoming holidays are sooo welcome after all this heat! It’s an especially exciting time to buy new gluten-free lipstick colors, and here’s 9 lipstick colors we’re obsessed with this fall.

A Lipstick Shade Perfect for Fall in 2019 is Paris

Paris is an easy to wear plum shade that pairs incredibly well with a lot of outfits, and looks fabulous on a wide variety of lip tones.  Wear it sheer or bold, it’s hard to over-do it with Paris.

Andie, AKA The Green Queen said “It’s a really pretty color. The formula is more moisturizing and less opaque. It does have some shimmer in it but it doesn’t look  frosty or shimmery in person. It just has some shimmer that makes it look shiny and kind of glossy.”

One would be remiss to overlook Audrey in Fall 2019

Audrey is Red Apple Lipstick’s top selling shade with good reason.  It’s your lips but better.  Audrey works on an incredibly wide range of skin and lip tones.  It also easily pairs with so any outfits!

Monika of Rocaille Writes said this of Audrey “Audrey gets two thumbs up from me – so much so that I promptly tossed NYX Tea Rose in the trash. There’s just no way I would reach for Tea Rose over Audrey if I wanted that neutral warm pink lip!”

Wanna dive a little deeper in the berry’s this fall?  Vogue is your go-to

Without being over-dramatic, Vogue takes your lips tone into the berrily perfect side of fall.  The tonal ranges Vogue is capable of will blow your mind.  It works perfectly as a sheer wash of color, or when paired with a similar color in your outfit, looks perfectly in place with each additional swipe!

The Clean Curator blog mentions this of Vogue “I love Vogue for these fall to winter days since it is like a darker, everyday lip for me. Again, I never had issues with this fading into my lip lines and I find that this actually makes my lips look fuller and better after application as the moisturizing formula really helps with any lip issues.”

Do you consider yourself an adventurous, red lipstick wearing person?  I thought so – Rebel!

Start lightly, and build the intensity to suit your black dress.  This stately deep red hollers “I’ve arrived”.  The formula behind Rebel! allows for a satin finish, or with a proper blot, a perfectly matte finish.  Touch up through out your night to maintain your sass.

In the Vegan Beauty Review, Sunny says “Rebel! is a sexy blue-based red – it’s very old Hollywood glamour! It has a satin finish, but if you’re looking for a matte finish, just blot once and TADA!”

Spicy!   Firecracker

This Retro-red is lined up for easy evenings around the campfire this fall.  Firecracker is a perfect blend between Coral and Red.  It’s lovely, especially with winter flannel.

Ashley Aleese,  the gorgeous crowd favorite You-Tube Vlogger says “While this came out in a summer collection I think it’s still perfect for fall because  this red color really reminds me of changing leaves”

Petal To The Metal

Berry and Purple – Always works in fall.  Petal To The Metal

“Light and Beautiful” says a reviewer of Petal To The Metal.  We couldn’t have said it better.  PTTM is PERFECT for Sunday Church, lunches with the girls, and business meetings a-like.

Danielle of CrueltyFreeVeganBeauty says “This one is very pretty and it’s not too out there, it’s definitely a really great berry color”

Oh Snapdragon

If it Blossoms in Spring, wear it in fall.  Oh Snapdragon

“Bright but Light” says a reviewer of Oh Snapdragon.  This creamy lavender is a cheerful lipstick, perfect for all of your cheerful events during the 2019 holidays.

In review by the Complete Natural Clarity blog, Julie says “Oh Snapdragon is mid-toned, so it’s totally daytime appropriate & depending on what type of job you have, you should be able to get away with rocking this shade at work. It’s also super moisturizing & lasts SO long, I can’t even believe it!”

Fascinating – that’s a word for Kissimmee

Kissimmee is a low maintanence balance between pink and red.  Perfectly suitable for the office and absolutely lush on dates.

Kat of Naturally Beautiful Girl says  This is another excellent color. It is a bit of a warmer pink and it’s a bit deeper. I love this shade. This is one I have worn a lot since I’ve gotten it and I have fallen absolutely in love with it.”

Cabernet Kiss

Don’t forget a gloss! Cabernet Kiss

This gloss is an all around winner for shifting the tone of any lipstick into that “I feel fall on the air” feeling.

Jenna Finke, Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach of Good For You Gluten Free says “When I purchased my first gluten-free lip gloss from Red Apple Lipstick years ago – Cabernet Kiss – I loved that it made my lips feel so moisturized. I thought it would dry out my lips, but it didn’t. I assure you, this stuff feels like a moisturizing lip balm!”

I still wish you would bring back Swoon. No other manufacturer makes this color. Every time I try to match it in a store I get comments on what a beautiful color it is. Perhaps it needs a name change to sell better. Red Apple has too many bright colors and not enough subtle shades. Bronze tones look better on so many people and it is Fall now.

I agree with Melinda above. I would love to see “Sweet Pea” come back. It made the best blush for my cheeks. Also, more warm toned lipsticks would be welcomed. I haven’t ordered in a long time because all the colors are too pink and cool toned.

The best Red Apple ever was the “Manhatten” lipstick.
It was amazingly beautiful & it had a bit more of a matte finish that looked really professional.
    I absolutely loved it!

Thank you for the feedback about Manhattan. It was a pretty red 🙂 I’ll have Gail put a tally mark on it for you. It’s always possible if we were to get enough requests we could bring it back in a limited batch.

Please consider warmer but softer toned lipsticks for mature women with “natural” hair. Sweet Pea was lovely, but unfortunately discontinued. It was a gorgeous color and not to harsh as with some corals and oranges. The closest warm toned lipstick offered now is
Day after Morocco”…but still has too much pink! I think you are limiting your customer base with predominantly “blue/cool” toned lipsticks.

Thank you for the feedback Melinda 🙂 If you ever have any examples of colors you’d like to see feel free to send pictures. It’s always helpful for us to get a visual. I agree about Sweet Pea too. It’s such a beautiful color <3
