I purchased the Power Potion sample first, and am very pleased with the bullet color. Looks just like the sample I tried, and the photos shown with the color description are spot on. The Rich Orchid lip liner is a bit bright for me to use as a lip color on its own, but it applies smoothly, is perfect with Power Potion and also works well with Can’t Be Beet. Power Potion is very pigmented, and I found it a bit drying, so I would definitely recommend applying lip balm first. I applied the liner and color, blotted, waited a few minutes, applied and blotted again and wore it through lunch. I ate and drank throughout the AM. After lunch, my lips were pretty dry, the color was mostly worn off, and it left a “border“ around my lips so I would definitely have to re-apply after eating a good sized meal.
After going gluten free I struggled to find beautiful bold colours. This duo is it! I love that I can line my full lip with the liner, add gloss and wear like that, or, use together for a totally different look. My new favourite!!
