Tip #1: Exfoliate your lips on a regular basis - this will keep dry skin cells from sitting on top of your lips...which will make the lipstick color look uneven and not allow it to last as long, because your skin cells are falling off your lips, along with the lipstick.
Tip #2: Moisturize your lips with Rallye Balm after exfoliation. Massage a healthy amount into your lips to help strengthen the skin and smoothe the lines. Wipe off any excess, so there's not a layer of balm sitting on TOP of your lips.
Tip #3: If you want to have SPF protection while wearing Sweet Pea, apply it once and blot, apply it again and blot. Then take Rallye Balm (which has SPF 8) and apply it on top of the color for added shine and sun protection.
Tip #4: If you want sparkle or glitter, don't be afraid to pair Sweet Pea with a gloss like Bridesmaid, which has a little glitter and not too much pigment that it would overpower the color.

I was soooo excited to try this lipstick! Unfortunately on me, it looked so very orange rather than pink/coral. Maybe it's my lip or skin color or something. So I was bummed about that, but it doesn't make it a bad product. Still the same high quality RAL lipstick -- creamy and smooth. The color just didn't work for me. Don't be afraid to try colors! The RAL return policy is TRULY hassle free.
If Sweet Pea doesn't work for you either, try Kiss on the Chic. It looks orangey on screen, but it is so gorgeous! And not pumpkiny orange like Sweet Pea was on me.

Do you have a distinct fear of the orange family of lip color? Are you in Merle Norman recovery from a bad childhood experience? Are you certain you'll look as if you sneaked a push-pop in the corner if you dare to try an orangey lipstick? I was you. I had an irrational prejudice against the entire range of orange and coral. And let me tell you, I was so wrong. Sweat Pea changed my mind and turned me around. It was my gateway orange. Pair this lovely, spring-y lipstick with a turquoise or navy outfit, a coral blush and some warm neutral shadow. You'll be an instant orange convert.

The Blush pencil is fantastic both as a liner & solo matte lipstick. But what I really loved was layering the blush as a lipstick with Sweet Pea layered on top!! It's the perfect peachey lip, great for a step-up from a nude lip with a pop!

I got this recently and I have been wearing it every day since! It is like a blend of coral and nude. Two thumbs up! I put it on after I use the exfoliating stick and it looks awesome. It looks natural yet gives me the extra boost of color. I have Celiac Disease and I am so happy I can finally wear lipstick :)

This seems like a nude-esque lipstick but wow does it have some personality to it. I put it on and I swear it becomes deeper and richer in colour as time goes on. Good colour for summer or spring or anytime really. Gives the pale red head type a nice flush.

I honestly thought my lipstick collection could not get any better and then came the SUMMER instant color collection. I'm just blown away at how incredibly gorgeous these new colors are. I've been playing all weekend like a kid with my new colors. It's hard for me to even choose a favorite. I'm so glad I purchased all the colors available. I cannot wait to see what future cosmetic goodies are in store for us RAL junkies. Thanks so much for the great friendly customer service and makeup always.

It works with everything summer! Between Strawberry and Sweet pea I have everything I need for summer although I also have several of the other shades that I also love. Can't get enough to choose from. They are all great!

Oh my goodness, I love your lipstick! I looked at your lipsticks quite a while ago, but I'm not a fan of shimmer, frost, or glitter and it appeared that most fell into that category. Your latest collection totally caught my eye and when I went back through other lipsticks I saw that Audrey fit my picky taste also. I absolutely LOVE them both! They're long wearing with excellent color pay-off, ridiculously moisturizing without smelling or tasting funny and at the end of the day when I take them off, my lips aren't dry and flaky. You included a sample of Rallye Balm, and that product is also fabulous. I worked in the cosmetic industry as a make-up artist for high end department stores for quite a few years and I've tried MANY lip products from many different cosmetic lines and yours.......hands down is the best!!! I'm well aware of the 'junk' put into cosmetics and skincare and that didn't seem to really sink in until a few years ago. I've had a really tough time finding 'clean' products that live up to the performance of what I was use to. I'm usually disappointed! A year ago I found I have a serious gluten and dairy intolerance, so that made my hunt for personal care products even more difficult. I'm beyond impressed with the Red Apple products I've tried so far and I'm looking forward to trying your lip gloss and eye shadows. Thank you SOOOO much for creating such an excellent clean product! I will definitely share your product with everyone I know. Keep up the good work!

This is described as the perfect blend of coral and pink. Maybe it's me,but I don't see much pink pink in it. In the tube, it looks like a brownish orange . On me, it turns pumpkin colored which doesn't suit me.
Again, very moisturizing and pigmented.

I would call this color more of a soft coral...I do not see much pink in it, but I really like it for a pop of soft color and very smooth feel.
