Tip #1: Exfoliate your lips on a regular basis - this will keep dry skin cells from sitting on top of your lips...which will make the lipstick color look uneven and not allow it to last as long, because your skin cells are falling off your lips, along with the lipstick.
Tip #2: Moisturize your lips with Rallye Balm after exfoliation. Massage a healthy amount into your lips to help strengthen the skin and smoothe the lines. Wipe off any excess, so there's not a layer of balm sitting on TOP of your lips.
Tip #3: If you want to have SPF protection while wearing Sweet Pea, apply it once and blot, apply it again and blot. Then take Rallye Balm (which has SPF 8) and apply it on top of the color for added shine and sun protection.
Tip #4: If you want sparkle or glitter, don't be afraid to pair Sweet Pea with a gloss like Bridesmaid, which has a little glitter and not too much pigment that it would overpower the color.

Nice everyday color. Peachy/Pink...more on the peach side. It does have pigment but may go on uneven. It is important to have great lips that is NOT DRY or you will not like the results. Love it otherwise. I still favor strawberry lips and drama over sweet pea though.

This lipstick is half coral but it leans more towards orange tone. I love orange lipsticks! I was so happy when I tried it on. I have warm skin stone and it looks so pretty on me. I wear it to school everyday. The lipstick smells like carrot and it is kind to my skin. Please make more shades like this, I will buy all!!

Darker & more orange than it appeared on my computer - not a fan of this colour but a huge fan of the Red Apple lipsticks, rallye balm & exfoliate, my horrendously dry lips are a thing of the past!

Sweet Pea almost sounded more vibrant orange in some of the reviews I watched, but on me, it is a slightly warmer shade of my natural lip pigment.

Wasn't sure about this color, even though it had been recommended to me. Then I put it on. It is a great color that is almost neutral, but has a touch of warmth. When I followed directions, and put it on me, it lasted until lunch. Even then, just needed a light reapplication. It then lasted until dinner. My lips feel great too.

I received my first order of Red Apple Lipsticks this week. They arrived on my doorstep in less than a week, as I ordered on 8/23 and received by 8/27! The packaging was lovely with all lipsticks in a nice fabric drawstring bag that I can make use of! I ordered Sweet Pea, Strawberry Lips and Naughty with the "Buy 2 get the 3rd half off" deal. I also threw in the Rallye Balm and Exfoliate for the extra $15 and used my VIP discount! Great deal!! First of all, I LOVE all of my new products. I have converted all of my makeup over the last year to natural, cruelty free, and mostly vegan beauty products. I first saw Red Apple lipsticks via Jess on Ecoholic Beauty and Brianna on iluvjesse444 YouTube channels. I am a lipstick lover, and these products are the best that I have come across in the natural beauty category. I love the moisturizing formulations, the staying power is fantastic, and the ingredients are not harmful!
Of the three lipsticks purchased, I am addicted to Sweet Pea and would say it's my favorite. I am a brunette with hazel eyes and fair neutral toned skin. I can wear most lip colors, but I tend to prefer orange-brown, red, deep rose and some berry lip colors. My least favorite color family is pinks. This lip color, while in the pink category, is a nice orange/coral/brown on my lips with that desired pop of color that instantly brightens my face. I have worn it every single day this week since receiving.
I also ordered Strawberry Lips, which is a red/brown on my lip. It's a beautiful color and I will probably wear this more in the fall. It's not a bright bold red, but more of a muted brownish brick red color with my lip color and skin tone. It's very wearable for every day. For me, it's definitely less of a pop of color on my face than Sweet Pea, and more of a "my lips but better" polished look. I am a red lipstick lover, so I can see this one being a favorite too if I ever stop wearing Sweet Pea!
Finally, I ordered Naughty. I was hoping that this shade would be a deeper brown/nude, but it's not on me. It's actually a little more of a light tan on my lip and doesn't give me a ton of color. I do like it for a very neutral no makeup look on the lip and it's also great for layering over and toning down some of my 'pink' lipsticks that are too dark or too pink for me. I think this lipstick will also work better for me coupled with a deeper brown/maple or brown/red lip liner as I tend to like more color on my lips since I'm pretty pale. This color doesn't wash me out, but straight out of the tube, it's a little light on me for my preference. Again, Naughty is a beautiful nude color though and I will definitely layer it with other colors.
The Rallye balm and Exfoliate products are wonderful too. I always put a little balm on my lips before my lipstick and the Rallye balm is a good consistency..not too 'slippery/shiny', more matte, but moisturizing and your lipstick won't slide off. I recommend both of these products highly also.
I cannot wait to order more lipsticks!! I don't NEED more, but there are so many beautiful colors. I received a free sample of Boys N Berries in my order and it's a very pretty natural berry shade with a tiny bit of sparkle, but not too much. It feels a bit more sheer than the shades I ordered, but I haven't played around yet with layering it on. It could be part of my next order... I am looking forward to trying more colors via the sample program too. I appreciate companies that offer sample programs since ordering online can sometimes be tricky. Red Apple Lipstick does provide good descriptions as well as the models with varied skin tones, the videos and the hand swatch comparisons. And of course, people's reviews can be very informative. I found all of these aspects on the website to be extremely useful as I was trying to decide which colors to order.
Give these lipsticks a try! I don't see how you could be disappointed since the products are top quality, the coupons are abundant and they have a generous return policy! I'm so happy that I found Red Apple Lipstick and will be recommending to my friends and family!

Quality of the lipstick is great, it's very conditioning and feels nice on the lips. Most importantly is the fact that the ingredients are all natural so I'm very pleased with this lipstick packaging is also nice lipstick feels very light. I just wasn't to happy with the color it was little to orange for me

I was soooo excited to try this lipstick! Unfortunately on me, it looked so very orange rather than pink/coral. Maybe it's my lip or skin color or something. So I was bummed about that, but it doesn't make it a bad product. Still the same high quality RAL lipstick -- creamy and smooth. The color just didn't work for me. Don't be afraid to try colors! The RAL return policy is TRULY hassle free.
If Sweet Pea doesn't work for you either, try Kiss on the Chic. It looks orangey on screen, but it is so gorgeous! And not pumpkiny orange like Sweet Pea was on me.

Do you have a distinct fear of the orange family of lip color? Are you in Merle Norman recovery from a bad childhood experience? Are you certain you'll look as if you sneaked a push-pop in the corner if you dare to try an orangey lipstick? I was you. I had an irrational prejudice against the entire range of orange and coral. And let me tell you, I was so wrong. Sweat Pea changed my mind and turned me around. It was my gateway orange. Pair this lovely, spring-y lipstick with a turquoise or navy outfit, a coral blush and some warm neutral shadow. You'll be an instant orange convert.

The Blush pencil is fantastic both as a liner & solo matte lipstick. But what I really loved was layering the blush as a lipstick with Sweet Pea layered on top!! It's the perfect peachey lip, great for a step-up from a nude lip with a pop!
