Tip #1: Exfoliate your lips on a regular basis - this will keep dry skin cells from sitting on top of your lips...which will make the lipstick color look uneven and not allow it to last as long, because your skin cells are falling off your lips, along with the lipstick.
Tip #2: Moisturize your lips with Rallye Balm after exfoliation. Massage a healthy amount into your lips to help strengthen the skin and smoothe the lines. Wipe off any excess, so there's not a layer of balm sitting on TOP of your lips.
Tip #3: Line your lips either with a pencil that matches Hibiskiss (like Roseberry) or the lipstick itself on a lip brush. With a dark color like this one, you want to make sure you draw good lines so that the color will enhance your lips and look even. Make sure to not just "draw a line" but pencil into your lips a little further, or use your finger to smudge the line into your lips. You just don't want a "ring around your mouth." Then apply straight from the tube.
Tip #4: Blot. Use a tissue, part your lips and slide the tissue in between. Roll your lips gently inward and back out, and remove tissue. Reapply lipstick from the tube.
Tip #5: Let the lipstick set. Let it dry. Don't drink anything, eat anything or touch your lips for just 5 minutes to give it a chance to set into your lip skin. You will appreciate doing this!
Tip #6: Try applying this as a stain with your finger. Using your clean ring finger, rub the slanted tip of the lipstick bullet a few times - and then dab onto your lips. This will create a lovely stain that looks like you just ate a handful of fresh picked raspberries.

Just when I think I couldn't love another shade more than the one before! This color is absolutely amazing! The color is a lovely shade of brighter pink but not too bright. I have the same shade that I bought in GloMinerals but this formula is MUCH more soft and glides on without sticking. I get so many compliments on this color. Thank you for developing this color!

Hibiskiss is *the* lip color every little girl who grew up listening to Cyndi Lauper wished her mother would let her wear. Maybe you couldn't rock it then, but now you can, and this hot pink is better than EVER. Not even the slightest hint of shimmer, this matte miracle stays put all day and brings any makeup scheme or outfit a special zing of intense color. I like to pair this with a bright but light eye look (with little liner) putting maximum focus on my superbly pink pout.

This is a beautiful color on the brighter side. As the description says it looks great even when it wears down.

Ooh I love this colour. It's so saturated and vibrant but it isn't clownish or over done. It's this perfect fleshy colour with enough depth to add glamour.

This lipstick is just gorgeous! I love the fact that it is "Gluten Free, Paraben Free, Nut/Tree Nut Free, Fragrance Free, Soy Free, and Toxin Free"!! My lips feel better when I use this and my Rallye Balm together. I've gotten lots of compliments on both! Keep adding more beautiful colors, Jay!!

I love your products.... Especially the Rallye Balm and as soon as the Hibiscus was released it became my favorite color. I have celiac and sooo appreciate clean products. I hope to market my own line of soaps and oils by next year and will try to adopt some of your marketing strategies. I think they are brilliant.

I'm surprised that nobody is talking about the fact that Hibisskiss and some of the other new lipsticks are fragrance-free! I loved the look and feel of previous Red Apple Lipsticks I purchased, but because of the fragrance I couldn't wear them. My body is an allergic nightmare and fragrances are near the top of the list of things I have to try to avoid. I had written to Jay about this issue, and wow! Soon there was a batch of fragrance-free colors! Thanks, Jay and Andrea! I bought several, and this one is my favorite. Fabulous!

I must say that the color is beautiful--my favorite of the new colors. The new fragrance formula is very nice for someone who is sensitive. The thing is it doesn't have a smell. Fragrance free lipsticks I have bought before had a stale smell to them. Not this formula. I also like the coverage.

I have to say I am in love with the new line of lipsticks. Coral Crush is definitely my favorite. It is just gorgeous. But I love Hibiskiss as well. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. But the new line of lipsticks has taken care of every single one of the issues I had. They are moisturizing, the colors last half a day and don't lose their vibrancy, it only takes one or two layers to get gorgeous color, and they don't bleed at all. Between that and the ingredients, these lipsticks are pretty much perfect.

I really ended up loving Hibiskiss. It's one of those colors that looks amazing on any skin tone. Super long lasting! I highly recommend this color to anyone!
