YOU WILL LOVE MAYBERRY! No, but seriously - it's perfection.
I designed it to be dusty rose with a hint of berries (if you can imagine such a thing).
On the pictures above you'll see that on Raf and Fran (who both have naturally brown lip bases) this color tints their lips slightly and creates a smooth natural look. Whereas on Melissa and I (who have naturally pink and neutral lips) Mayberry appears rustic with a berry hue.
I can't say enough about this timeless and classic color. It will look great year round, and is a great everyday color for anyone's makeup bag.
Just trust me, you'll adore it!
Mayberry is nut and fragrance free.

This would be practically the perfect color for me however it has little flecks of sparkle that don't work for me. It's hard to tell from the pictures but it has little flecks of glitter and while it looks ok when I first put it on, when the color wears off a bit I'm left with a lot of little glittery specks stuck to my lips. I also find some specks on other areas of my face after some time. The formula is very nice and moisturizing so if you like that kind of shimmer in lipstick this color is really pretty. I find this color to be somewhat similar to Audrey and Vogue but Audrey has no sparkles/shimmer and Vogue has a different, slight shimmer to it that I can live with.

Somehow, I neglected to review this one when I purchased it last year. I am always trying the new colors as they come out - I give them the test of time! And Mayberry rocks! It is my "go to" color because it is perfect for just about everything. What I like best is that it gives me a finished look, adds the appropriate level of color, and never leaves me looking washed out (too light) or turned up way too bright (when I don't want siren). I describe it as a "chocolate pink" - and the sparkles truly are NOT overdone - more of a slight shimmer. (I believe back a few years ago, another popular maker of lipsticks had a color called Chocolate Pink - yeah, with all the toxins in it....) This is SO much better! I believe I like it better than Audrey or Secrets at this point.
For me, it is like the perfect "lip foundation" and I can leave it as it is, or I can turn the color up a bit by adding the new Barely Pink lip pencil - or by popping a touch of one of the brighter glosses over top. But seriously, you need to try this one if you have not done so! I have medium light skin, blue eyes, highlighted med brown hair with lots of low lights.
Too bad it is out of stock now! Bummer! I'll wait on this one though!

This is by far one of my favorites in my RAL collection. It has a brownish red base, which is beautiful on a olive base skin color. Just like all of the RAL lipsticks, this lasts forever on your lips and it is very moisturizing. I get the most compliments with Mayberry!

Love this color!! your lips but a little darker shade. Very moisturizing formula, long lasting, highly pigmented. must have for a natural look with a little shimmer!! Thank you for making gluten free lipsticks :)

Mayberry is the best shade I've ever tried, and I've tried so many colors and brands throughout the years. It goes with everything! Love it's name, too....sounds Americana to me.

The color is exactly how they described it. It looks really pretty but the sparkles! It's not super glittery but there are 'larger than I would like' flecks of glitter when applied onto my lips. It's the type that get stuck in the creases of your lips and gets all over your face. I wish it had a nice fine shimmer, that I could do.

I learned from your site that I needed to find my actual lip color match and I have with Mayberry! I love it for a natural look. The lipstick goes on smoothly with just one coat and stays on for a long time. I love all of my Red Apple Lipsticks - and they are gluten free and good for your lips!

The color is described as a rustic mauve and it is. Not great on me, especially the sparkles which seem more than in the sample. However, it is perfect on my 19 year old daughter who has a fair complexion, blue eyes and medium brown hair. And she loves the sparkles.

Mayberry is a very special lipstick color is a dark pink verging on mauve color with a hint of berries. Its coverage is superb: just one pass for an intense and uniform color on the lips. It 'a color classic, timeless, to be worn with confidence on every day. It 'a fragrance free lipstick and it is wonderful!
