I 'm really glad to be able to buy sample sizes. It makes trying colors so much better.

I love that I could buy samples to try before buying full size lipsticks! I chose 4 and I'm having fun trying them and mixing them. I have light-medium skin tone, blue-green eyes and medium brown hair. I really love Maven Mauve as my MLBB color. Audrey has the shine built in and I thought it might be too bright but it is so right and it's able to be layered for more intensity. I find Sweet Pea a bit more orange than expected but still didn't take it off. Oh My Guava is a bit light but fine for a nude color and to blend with others. Some of these are matte and need a bit of gloss on top. They last so long when applied as suggested. I used to think why blot, but at almost 60 I know why now! LOL so glad I stumbled onto RAL! This company gives a hoot!

As I'm still experimenting with which lipstick colors work well for me and my wardrobe, I LOVE these samples! The first time I ordered 4 (and that was several months ago; they've lasted til now), and last week I ordered 7 more! It's so great to have a way to enjoy lipstick as an accessory without having to buy a whole tube. It definitely takes the pressure out of experimentation :-)

Simple and chic! The kind of lipstick that I would repurchase again and again.

Dear Red Apple Lipstick,
Your product is superior in color, ingredients, (or the lack thereof!) and natural scent. I love Audrey and New York that I discovered through buying the samples. I got so many compliments in one day on how pretty I looked from different people at work one day wearing New York! I feel so pretty and natural wearing it. It brightens my eyes and my face. I love the idea of the sample kit, because I can try a whole bunch out first without committing one first. For sure, I am looking at my New York lipstick sample and my full size Ralle Balm and need to order full size of each very soon!
Love your lipstick,

how cool that you can pick out a few colors and actually try them out! I have bought countless tubes that have just gone straight to the trash. And the lipstick is very nice. Goes on smooth. No lip pealing. I haven't picked my favorite color yet but I have three nice ones to choose from.

I found the idea of ordering samples very attractive, at it is hard to know if a color and texture truly fits you until you try it on (also, I'm quite picky)! It was a lot of fun to try them out and I could see what the colors looked like in different lighting (sunny day, overcast day, and artificial lights). I took my time, tried them again and again, showed them to my hubby, and finally settled my choice on two lovely shades, which I just ordered! ...and I actually ordered more samples!

I ordered 8 samples. For fun I put them on one at a time and took notes about the shades and which ones were my favorites. I am a brunette with medium skin with warm undertones. I decided to rank them starting with the one I picked last and ending with my favorite. Let me tell you though---they could of all been number one--they are beautiful! Here I go----Out of eight, coming in eight is "Red! 101" It is a beautiful red but as I have never worn a red shade before it overwhelmed me. Give me time though---I think this one could grow on me! Coming in as number 7---"Rebel". It ramps up the color on your lips and is very pretty, but still,--a tad intense for me. Number 6---"Kiss Me On the Chic"---a perfect coral-pink on my lips. I prefer more pink but I was pleasantly surprised to find I really liked this shade. Number 5---"Ooh La La"---This is a gorgeous medium mauve-pink on me. Very pretty. Number 4---"Vogue"---This came out on my lips as a soft plum-berry. Again---very, very nice, but not my number one choice. Number 3---"New York"---This shade bounced around from number three to number two and even number one. It was a hard choice. It is a pale soft dusty pink and very flattering. Number 2---Secrets---This looked like a soft golden pink on my lips. it seemed very similar to "New York", but a little more intense. Now for my number one choice of my samples----"Petal Rebel"---What can I say---it is the perfect pink. Not bubblegum pink, not a purple-pink,---just the perfect pink.

Lipsticks can be so different on each individual that sometimes you just need to try the colors you are uncertain of. The amount of product given in the little sample container is generous and is enough to be used many times. The applicator brush included is so handy for painting on the colors and it all can be kept in the resealable plastic bag very convenient for travel. I was curious about three shades and rather than pay full price and possibly have to return them, I was able to experiment with the samples and find out that none of them were right for me. An added bonus was a sample of Rallye Balm. Yes it seemed pricey at first but it was worth it to me and satisfied my curiosity in a very reasonable way.

I tried out the Wine & Dandy and I loved the color and how it's gluten free. I been looking for a nice brown shade. The lipstick stays on pretty good. :)
