Best Lipsticks For Silver Hair With Warm Fair Skin
Why Are These The Best Lipsticks For Silver Hair, Warm Skin
Warm skin tones look best wearing warm or neutral based lipstick shades. The following three lipstick shades are the perfect place to start. Your makeup bag wouldn’t be complete without a warm red, a neutral nude , and a neutral berry. We’ve gone into detail about each shade below, but for now let’s talk WHY.
Age plays a role here – Gail, pictured here, is in her 50s. These lipsticks complement her silver hair, her still highly pigmented base lip color, her warm skin, and blue eyes. We mention age because we want you to look your best as your features change, and that usually happens when either your hair goes grey or your base lip color fades. That’s when you know it’s time to shift to a slightly different color palette – which you can find here.
Let’s talk base lip color, which is the color your lips are with nothing on them. This is important because our lipsticks are designed to blend WITH your natural lip color not completely cover it up. So, these lipsticks will look a little different on someone who started off with a brown or purple base lip color, and may not be our first choices.
Gail’s base lip color is a medium reddish pink and her lips are still highly pigmented so any lipstick she wears is going to pick up that reddish-pink color. Knowing your base lip color allows you to find lipstick shades that are just a bit deeper for a “my-lips-but-better” look – the perfect everyday lipstick for looking pulled together without any effort. It’s your go-to everyday shade.
If your base lip color is still highly pigmented like Gail’s then these are great choices for you.
Ooh La La – Neutral Nude with pigment to not wash you out
Ooh La La is a brown pink lipstick that is a stunning nude on many women with pigmented lips. You can build this shade in its intensity to suit your style. The slight pink undertones will keep this neutral from washing you out but also not look super pink.
Berry Blast – Everyday go-to shade
This sheer berry colored lipstick shade will blend with your base lip color to form a unique shade that should work with any outfit. It’s super moisturizing and balm-like, so all-day wear feels as good as it looks.
Strawberry Lips – Warm Toned Light Red Lipstick
Strawberry Lips is a light red lipstick which has neutral to warm undertones and is a subtle, not-too-bright red. If you’re looking for a bright red that won’t turn pink, check out Risqué, a red lipstick with orange undertones.

You might be wondering what other makeup will look amazing with your silver hair and warm skin. Below, you’ll find eyeshadow palettes for your eye color, pencils, gloss and other lipsticks that will look great on you. Blush is one of our favorite products, because it brings your face to life – and the shade M’Lady, is by far the best blush for warm skin! You could also get away with Gotta Glow (peachy pink universally flattering blush). Either way, your makeup bag will not be complete without blush – and we highly recommend a matte muted mauve blush shade, M’Lady.

Hello.
I have graying medium brown hair and very fair skin with cool undertones. I now wear glasses all the time. They are a Calvin Klein cat eye style and the frames are a crystal mauve/rose color.
The glasses are a great pop of color for my face. But, the Audrey lipstick doesn’t seem to be the right color anymore.. What might you suggest? I am happy to start with samples.
As always, a thousand thank you’s.
Hi Mary! I took a look at your glasses online and they are so pretty. I’d recommend trying the following, Berrycuda, Can’t Be Beet, Mabel, Maven Mauve, Mayberry, Petal To The Metal, and Oh Snapdragon <3
